What Are Co-ops and Practicums?
Co-op (Cooperative Education):
A structured program combining academic studies with paid work experience. Students alternate between periods of study and full-time employment, gaining hands-on experience in their field of study.
Practicum:
A shorter, often unpaid, work placement that provides students with practical experience in their area of study. Practicums are typically integrated into the curriculum and supervised by both the employer and the college.
